Conclusion: Reirradiation was associated with improved survival in children with recurrent DIPG and DMG. Individuals with <1 year and >1 year latent time between RT1 and RT2 both responded to treatment, but those who had >1 year latent time had significantly longer survival after RT2. There is a need to identify additional predictive factors to better select patients who respond best to reirradiation.
