Conclusion: In conclusion, for pediatric and young adult patients with DIPG who exhibit progression following initial RT, palliative re-irradiation has demonstrated potential in alleviating neurological symptoms and prolonging survival. As the current literature is still in its infancy, future prospective studies are essential to optimize re-irradiation protocols and investigate their integration with emerging systemic therapies.
