first 2 years, and six monthly after that till year five. Treatment response was assessed at 3 months post-completion of treatment with clinical evaluation, MR scan and PETCT.

Results: Three (3) out of four (4) patients achieved complete clinical response at 3 months. One patient who did not achieve a complete response was successfully salvaged with surgical-wide local resection.

Conclusion: Given the risk of surgery in this population and the low risk of metastasis, perianal BCC should be treated with radiotherapy, and surgical resection should be reserved for residual or recurrent disease.
