For PT plans, the XT model predicted an average PPC rate of 20.3%, while the XT+PT model estimations were significantly lower at 16.0%(p<0.001). For XT plans, estimated PPC risks were similar between the two models(p=0.2). The average ∆NTCP was 10.7% with the XT model and 15.7% using the XT+PT model (p<0.001). The XT+PT model would direct 30/40(75.0%) patients to PT, compared to 24/40(60.0%) with the XT model, altering the clinical decision for 6 patients (15%).
