Conclusion: Pro-inflammatory pattern of biomarker expression in baseline plasma samples of patients who developed symptomatic RN during post-SRS follow-up was established. Enriching the V12 parameter with selected biomarkers improves the sensitivity to predict the risk of RN in BMs patients undergoing SRS. These promising findings may have future implications to adopt personalized treatment strategies in BMs patients and will be further validated in a collaborative multicenter study.
