Conclusion: Our study showed that loco-regional recurrences were related mostly to aggressive tumor biology, with approximately 70% of failures attributed to geographical misses. Adopting RTOG guidelines for volume delineation in high-risk cases with aggressive histology might be beneficial. However, Further follow-up and meticulous documentation of the recurrences is needed to improve their understanding.
