Data were prospectively collected from consecutive patients treated for curative and palliative intent radiotherapy with 3D-CRT for cancer at Haramaya University Hiwot Fana Comprehensive Specialized Hospital in Harar, Ethiopia between January 2023 and July 2024. Patient demographics, tumor and treatment characteristics were collected at baseline and CTCAE v5.0 toxicity and grade, and outcomes were collected for curative intent patients at end of treatment, 3-months, and 1-year. For palliative intent patients, a follow up at 1 month post treatment was performed (Figure 1). Descriptive statistics were computed using SPSS.

Results:

Among 444 consecutively treated cancer patients, 96% were adults (n=428), 63% female (n=280), 2.4% HIV positive (n=11), and the median age was 46 years (IQR 35-60). Breast cancer was the most frequent cancer treated (21%,
