ESTRO 2025

Results: Starting from October 2022, a specific workflow for the implementation of the ERHR was designed. For each anatomical district, different electronic clinical document templates were created for the ERHR, which almost completely replaced paper medical records. For the second goal, the Raysearch platform joined the majority of EHRs and HMSs of our Institute. For the third goal, the ERHR was successfully connected with the CDP, thus data entered for clinical practice in the ERHR are automatically transferred for research purposes. As a result, data can be collected for the POWER Registry, a study protocol registered at clinicaltrials.gov (NCT05860361). Since November 2023, the registry started the recruitment of the first patients treated with PT, collecting clinical and dosimetric data, quality of life questionnaires, biological samples, and radiological images. The project is still ongoing and will promote translational research studies and encourage networking with other PT centers. Conclusion: The present work reports an example of how the collaboration between different professional figures fosters the implementation of a modern and functional infrastructure designed to optimize both clinical practice and oncological research in a radiotherapy center.
