Results: Film measurements were compared against the expected dose based on the orthovoltage unit’s calibration. For test doses <1000cGy, the percent difference was within ±5.3% (EBT4) and ±2.8% (EBT-XD), and for test doses ≥1000cGy, within ±5.3% (EBT4) and ±1.6% (EBT-XD). Film exposures on the patient phantom resulted in peak/valley doses of 1810/183 cGy (EBT4) and 1850/198 cGy (EBT-XD), while dose-escalation resulted in 2950/303 cGy (EBT4) and 3240/313 cGy (EBT-XD), see Figure 2.
