Conclusion: The obtained results indicate that the microDiamond detector, if used in the in-beam orientation with a perpendicular magnetic field exhibits only a marginal magnetic field dependency. The observed signal drift of the microSilicon detector for repeated irradiations seems to discourage a potential use for reference dosimetry. Consequently, for dosimetry in MR guided proton therapy, besides the use of passive detectors, semiconductor detectors are a viable option, paving the way for future basic beam data acquisition, which are key prior clinical implementation of MR-guided proton therapy.
