Results: In the first phase, 18 centers using both 6 MVFF (12 centers) and 6 MVFFF (11 centers) completed the measurements. The function proposed by Sauer and Wilbert [1] was used to fit FOFs vs EFS for the two beams energy. The experimental data, derived from two LINAC models, showed good agreement with the fitted function, as presented in Figure1 and Figure2 for 6MVFF and 6MVFFF beams, respectively. Deviations of FOFs from the fitted curve were within 2% for EFS ≥ 2 cm and within 3% for EFS ≤ 1 cm for both 6 MVFF and 6 MVFFF data. The only significant deviation was found for a third LINAC model, which was unique to the study.
