by the PTW company. The comparison was also used to estimate a water equivalent thickness of the GCal of about 4 mm.
Conclusion: The experiments carried out with both the UHDR proton and electorn beams allowed to demonstrate the suitability of the GCal for FLASH radiotherapy dosimetry paving the way towards the standardization of the practical use of this device in the perspective of a clinical translation of FLASH radiotherapy.
