dose, enabled dose distribution reconstruction. Assuming a cylindrical symmetry of dose deposition, the captured image of radioluminescence represents the Abel transform of the dose distribution. An iterative inverse Abel transform algorithm was used to reconstruct the 3D dose distribution. The result was compared to MDV3 GC film, positioned between PMMA slabs along the beam direction, and MC simulations (Topas version 3.9, geant4-10-07 patch-03) of dose deposition in PMMA and in the plastic scintillator. Results The first figure presents four 2D dose maps: MC simulations in PMMA and in the plastic scintillator, MDV3 GC film in PMMA and the RLI reconstructed dose.

The second figure shows a graph comparing the Percentage Depth Dose (PDD) curves. The results demonstrate good agreement between MC simulation in PMMA and MDV3 GC film, as well as between MC simulation in the scintillator and the RLI reconstructed dose.
