Conclusion: A closed circulatory system has been established, which comprises the inclusion of patient-specific parameters (FLIP) within a comprehensive blood circulation model (HEDOS) that enables the blood dose quantification during radiotherapy treatments. This is crucial in clinical scenarios where tumors are near vasculature, the surrounding vessel volume is comparable to tumor volume, and total irradiation time is extensive. The ability to accurately report blood dose is essential for attaining a personalized approach in radiotherapy dosimetry.
