A pattern of failed images occurred during the first three fractions of treatment.

Conclusion: In-vivo dosimetry enables real-time monitoring of dose delivered, allowing to determine action levels for replanning and ensuring greater accuracy and safety. Given the limitations, such as time-consuming in the treatment unit (~35s per patient, which in our clinical practice would represent: ~24 min/day, ~2h/week), and increased database storage allocation, it is extremely important to develop a cost-efficient image acquisition protocol.
