Physics - Dose prediction, optimisation and applications of photon and electron planning

Conclusion: The application of large-scale KB-driven automatic plan optimization using a unique optimization template can generate fully automated plans, comparable to clinical manual plans for both internal and external validation sets. This fully automated method could be potentially relevant in applications for large-scale KB-driven automatic plan optimization, enabling knowledge transfer and supporting the standardization of radiotherapy practices across multiple centers. Further investigations are ongoing to perform clinical assessments of the AMBRA plans over a large scale of institutes and radiation oncologists.
