impact of the magnetic field on the PVDR was found to be dependent on the field strength, beam energy, and depth of PVDR determination. The impact of the magnetic field was similar for the ideal and the realistic beam, the main difference was a systematically lower dose at the surface for energies above 10 MeV for the ideal beam. In both clinically motivated cases, a PVDR above 10 throughout the patient’s geometry was observed using magnetic fields of 7 T. At isocenter plane the PVDRs were increased from 5.0±0.5 respectively 4.7±0.8 at 0 T to 38.4±3.3 respectively 31.2±6.2 at 15 T.
