Results: The DSBM model achieved an average SSIM of 0.82 ± 0.03, and MAE of 5.5 ± 0.7% within body-masked regions for the k-fold validations (Fig. 2a). When employing this image enhancement model to the upright mid-field MR images (Fig. 2b), we showed that the model effectively preserved structural details and reduced noise despite the challenging geometric differences in upright positioning.
