Results: The optimal w st , reducing bone visibility for both 15 and 20 mA protocols, ranged from 0.57 to 0.62 across all tumour sizes. Figure 1 depicts the result of the WLS for the 15 mA protocol. LE images exhibited higher CNR than the corresponding HE images; therefore, they were utilized for comparative analysis. Increasing the mA from 15 to 20 resulted in a CNR improvement of 3% and 13% for LE and DE images respectively. The TM failed to detect the tumour location in the LE images, exhibiting a greater deviation for smaller tumours. Conversely, it effectively detected the tumour location in the DE images using the optimal w st within 2% of the GT motion. Figure 2 illustrates the percentage deviation between TM and GT across all protocols.
