ESTRO 2025

Results: There were 3 treatment related deaths in the initial 11 patients and none in the prospectively enrolled 31 patients. One patient died of severe tongue bleed 6 months after treatment (assumed local recurrence) and 3 patients failed in the neck. The survival and disease control outcome are shown in the Figure 2A, 2B and 2C. All 42 patients achieved clinical and radiological (r) complete response (CR) at primary site with a median time of 3 and 6 months. Thirty out of 35 patients with nodal involvement achieved r-CR in the nodes (median time 6 months). In all 26 patients with post treatment Pet-CT, metabolic CR is seen at primary site by 6 months. At 24 months, 25% of patients had CTC-AE 5.0 grade 2 periodontal disease, none needing surgical intervention.
