Conclusion: Photon-counting CT is able to fulfill all radiotherapeutic requirements for conventional CT simulation. Since various image representations optimized for each clinical task can be derived from a single (contrast-enhanced) PCCT acquisition for all body regions, a more streamlined, standardized and enhanced workflow can be achieved.
