Conclusion: Brachytherapy of outer ear skin cancer achieves satisfactory target coverage while yielding steeper dose falloff adjacent the target compared to electron and VMAT plans. However, mean dose to cochlea is on average lowest for electron plans. Optimal treatment technique should therefore be chosen on an individual patient basis.
