Results:

Among the software tested, RayStation achieved the lowest mean TRE for all deformation scenarios, with all the values close to or smaller than 3 mm ( Table 1 ). On the other hand, Velocity returned the highest mean TRE, indicating the lowest voxel mapping accuracy.

From the Pearson correlation analyses, SlicerElastix displayed an exceptionally strong negative correlation between DSC and mean TRE for all the organs/combination considered. All the r values were lower than -0.90 ( Table 2 ), which testified the possibility of utilizing contour-based metrics for DDA accuracy evaluation.
