Conclusion: This study demonstrated that Image-Guided Radiation Therapy and Surface Guided Radiation Therapy achieved comparable patient positioning within the treatment tolerances. SGRT offers an effective alternative for patient positioning and intra-fraction monitoring, providing the added benefits of reduced radiation exposure and shorter overall treatment times. Moreover, SGRT proves to be an efficient technique that minimizes daily positioning errors, thereby ensuring more accurate delivery of therapy.
