Conclusion: Despite the time required for the adaptive process, daily oART achieves robust geometric and dosimetric coverage with minimal internal margins (1-mm axial, 2-mm SI). This stability confirms the oncologic safety of such margins with oART for HNSCC, which allows for markedly smaller PTV volumes – and attendant dosimetric benefits – for both daily and stereotactic IMRT.
