Conclusion: With the iterative multi-model radiobiological optimization of carbon-ions plans, we achieve a homogeneous target coverage for both LEM-I and mMKM prescribed dose levels, we improve the LETd distribution within the target while avoiding high LETd at the border with OARs. This concept is now routinely applied in the clinics.
