spinal cord was always below the tolerance in the nominal and worst-case scenarios. Plan A achieved the median D mean tolerance for the parotids, while Plan B did not.

Conclusion: A pipeline for automated proton treatment planning was developed. This provides a proof of principle solution. Future work will investigate predicting potential conflicts in the optimisation and considering more complex cases.
