Conclusion: DIR provides statistically significant better consistency in transfer of OAR from CT-old to CT-new than RIR; and significantly different DVH-values compared to RIR. This supports the preferential use of DIR for reirradiation planning in lung cancer, and will be crucial for ensuring reproducible and safe reirradiation in the forthcoming CURE Lung trial.
