Conclusion: Our detector-less PSQA procedure is much more sensitive than detector-based PSQA, which struggles to detect correlations between dose errors and PCMs [4-5]. Furthermore, our detector-less PSQA procedure is highly efficient and provides detailed insights into dose errors at each step, from TPS calculation to dose delivery. Thus, our detector-less PSQA procedure can safely replace routine detector-based PSQA. Nevertheless, detector-based PSQA still has a role in the validation of new TPS algorithms and treatment techniques since the primary and secondary dose calculation may inadvertently share common dose calculation issues.
