Conclusion: We investigated the α/β ratio and EUD volume parameter, n , of the rectum for acute proctitis risk prediction. Using a unique dataset of patients treated with 3 different fractionation schedules, who reported the same types of patient reported outcomes, we found moderate-to-high dose volumes of importance and a relatively low sensitivity to fractionation. With appropriate α/β and n a common prediction model could be created for all three fractionation schedules.
