Results: In 23 patients (34.3%) one or more RICE were observed. A total of 60 lesions were identified, of which 36 (60%) in the brainstem. Table 1 shows the results of the new paediatric model, the adult model and the adult model refitted to our data. An AUC of 0.83, the improved Brier score and calibration metrics indicate that the new model outperforms the Bahn et al. model. The results show that younger patients are more at risk for RICE and that this risk is elevated in the brainstem.
