Conclusion: [18F]FDG-PET RFs can effectively predict DRFS after chemoradiotherapy, proving to be robust enough against time. All models demonstrated moderate discriminative ability in stratifying patients in risk classes. Further validation is underway with independent cohorts from three external centers, comprising 50 new patients. Current study was supported by a grant from AIRC (IG 25951).
