Conclusion: This study indicated that there are many burdens of treatments outside of the physical symptoms and side-effects. The financial and psychosocial support given to patients while having treatment and post-treatment requires further improvement. Consequently, interventions that can be implemented into these patient pathways to address these unmet needs are now being explored.

Digital Poster Evaluating Pediatric Patient Experience in Radiotherapy: Strategies to Improve Comfort and Psychological Well-being Fatimazahra Abdelli, Chaimae Arji, Samia Khalfi, Kawtar Soussy, Wissal Hassani, Fatimazahra Farhane, Zenab Alami, Touria Bouhafa Radiation therapy, Hassan II university hospital centre, FES, Morocco Purpose/Objective: Our study aims to examine radiotherapy reception strategies to assess their impact on children's anxiety before and after sessions, as well as to gain insight into how both children and their parents perceive the experience. Based on the results, we will try to propose recommendations to optimize reception and make the radiotherapy experience more positive and soothing for children and their families. Material/Methods: This descriptive cross-sectional study recruited 50 children aged 6 to 15 and their parents from our radiotherapy department, where welcoming strategies such as preliminary visits were observed. Children's anxiety levels were measured before and after sessions using the Revised Children's Manifest Anxiety Scale (RCMAS) 1 , and parents completed satisfaction questionnaires. Semi-structured interviews were also conducted to gather families' feelings and suggestions. Quantitative data were analyzed by Student's t-tests and analysis of variance, revealing significant differences (p < 0.05) between anxiety levels according to hosting strategies.
