Results: 375 treatment plans of 283 patients were evaluated, and two-sample independent t-tests revealed that TP1-2 was significantly reduced for PAT unit (559 minutes) compared to standard VS (802 minutes), t(373) = -3.18, p < 0.001, d = 0.33. TP2-3 was also significantly reduced for PAT unit (822 minutes), compared to standard VS (2776 minutes), t(373) = -6.55, p < 0.001, d = 0.68. The histograms also corroborate this trend.

Conclusion: This demonstrates that the PAT unit was able to generate plans more promptly than standard VS workflow. The implementation of PAT unit allowed for the expansion of radiation therapists’ roles, enabling them to engage in
