Conclusion: Most patients had a PET/CT, the majority for RT planning. PET/CT changed staging in a small proportion of patients and led to change in treatment intent in 1 case. Having a PET/CT did not delay starting treatment, and planning PET/CT may improve pathway timeliness in comparison with staging PET/CT. Our approach may act as a comparative cohort for other centres considering adopting this approach and wanting to compare treatment pathway durations.
