Results:

Overall, 50 women (median age 67 years; range 48-84) were enrolled in the study. Left (LBS) and right breast side (RBS) patients were 27 and 21, respectively, and two patients had bilateral breast cancer; 33 patients received adjuvant endocrine therapy. The median PTV volume was 768 cc (220-1689) and the median heart volume was 576 cc (403-857). The average mean heart dose (Dmean) and maximum heart dose (D0.04cc) were 0.73Gy (SD 0.50) and 10.0Gy (SD 10.1), respectively. We reported 0.94Gy (SD 0.49) and 15.0Gy (SD 9.03) of Dmean and D0.04cc, respectively, for the LBS group, while a Dmean of 0.44Gy (SD 0.34) and a D0.04cc of 3.14Gy, (SD 7.12) for RBS ( Table 1 ). We did not report any significant variations in 3D-LVEF, 3D-RVEF, LV and RV volumes, LV-GLS, and FWRV-LS at study time points, both in LBS and RBS groups ( Table 2 ).
