Conclusion: The patient voice is imperative to identifying meaningful health interventions. Our findings demonstrate patient interest and support for radiation oncology review prior to PST but preferences around how information is provided vary. These insights may improve personalised care by shaping how consultations are structured and how information is communicated to individual patients.

The aim of this systematic review is to define the incidence and evolution of breast oedema following breast radiotherapy as reported in clinical trials and to document the tools with which trialists are measuring this adverse event, with a view to determine the tools and timepoints that would be most useful in future breast radiotherapy trials.
