During the first year after surgery, three severe adverse events were recorded (5.6%), all of which were grade 3, including one postoperative infection, one radiation dermatitis, and one impairment of shoulder mobility. The success rate of IIBR and PMRT with helical Tomotherapy was 41/55 (74.5%) [90% CI: 63.1; 83.9]. Failures included 12 due to delays, 1 implant removal, and 1 from both factors. Delays were solely due to organizational issues and occurred in patients treated with adjuvant CT. The median delay between surgery and treatment initiation was 8 weeks (range: 5.1–12.0 weeks) for RT and 6.3 weeks (range: 4.1–9.4 weeks) for CT.
