Conclusion: Cardiac toxicity was not uncommon in our cohort, irrespective of treatment for left or right breast tumours, and with only a small proportion of patients treated with BH technique. These results demonstrate the importance of long-term cardiological follow-up and the need of identifying patients with higher risk of cardiotoxicity to adopt risk reduction strategies.
