Conclusion: The key result is the identification of a preselection criteria to better predict which patients could benefit from proton therapy in DIBH: female patients with indication for IMN RT, younger than or equal to 50 years old and with cardiac risk factors. This preselection is crucial to streamline treatment planning and avoid delays, given the complexity and time-consuming nature of plan comparisons.
