The ESTRO School is an international institution whose mission is to: • improve, professionalise and harmonise knowledge and practice in radiation oncology and associated professions in Europe and beyond • support the implementation of the European core curricula, with education and training programmes targeting both young and senior radiation oncology professionals • offer a wide range of live educational activities and online educational resources that allow professionals worldwide to acquire the knowledge, skills and competencies to deliver high-quality treatment and care to cancer patients.

In 2018 the School developed a wide array of educational activities, including:

Annual live teaching courses covering the basic and continuing medical educational needs of all professionals working in the field of radiation oncology

Pre-meeting teaching courses, workshops, multidisciplinary tumour board sessions and teaching lectures during congresses

E-learning courses and tools

Hands-on experience through a mobility grants programme
