The aimof the European Breast Cancer Conferences is to support the establishment of a European multidisciplinary platform for scientific exchanges on all aspects of breast cancer, from bench to bedside. As the largest Breast Cancer Conference outside the USA, the EBCCprovides a uniquemultidisciplinary setting for all professionals with a common interest in breast cancer to discuss, debate, inform and educate themselves about this evolving disease landscape. Breast cancer stakeholders fromover 90 countries come together to share the most recent scientific knowledge. EBCC-11 in Barcelona will once again take place in the context of very tangible advances made for patients in prevention, diagnosis, treatment, survivorship, and advances driven by research in recent years, emphasising the successful application of a multidisciplinary approach.This latest edition is firmly based again on an all-inclusive vision of breast cancer and brings together clinicians, scientists, patient representatives and health professionals of diverse profiles to tackle key issues facing patients throughout the continuum of the breast cancer journey. The programme will highlight the importance of teamwork and interactions between all professionals and specialities involved in breast cancer. Amongst the very stimulating, educational and enjoyable sessions of the programme, highlights will include thought-provoking debates, best practice sessions, dedicated society sessions and exciting clinical science symposia organised throughout the three days.
