Subjective measures

• Physicians/Expert panels: • Most frequently used is Harris scale: excellent, good, fair, poor

• Patients - Validated questionnaires, e.g. • Sneeuw et al: 8 items

• BCTOS: Breast Cancer Treatment Outcome Scale: 22 items. • Breast Q (MSKCC, endorsed by ICHOM): Very extensive questionnaire, several different modules: • Breast Conserving Therapy • Latissimus Dorsi (LD) Scales • Mastectomy +/- reconstruction (including Expectations scales) • Reduction/Mastopexy & Augmentation • Breast Q is currently being modified by dr. Young Afat
