• May achieve resection volumes of 20-50%

• Many techniques available depending on the site of the affected quadrant; Quadrant by quadrant atlas of procedures plus bespoke modifications. E.g. Batwing for superior periareolar, grisotti for central, superior pedicle for inferior tumours etc. • If planning conservation for multicentric disease, MRI is necessary, patient must be warned about risk of subsequent mastectomy and lack of level 1 evidence of safety.
