22 patients ( 5 resected, 5 marginally resectable, 12 unresectable)

• 50.4 CGE - 59.4 CGE • 1.8 CGE per fraction

• Toxicity G3 - G5  no events • Toxicity G2 -> only with AP or left right fields • Short FU (11 months) • MST inoperable 8.4 Months

• 3D passively scattered protons. • Variable fields: left- right and AP were stopped to prevent nausea and G2 tox • 4DCT ITV and RTOG 9704/ US intergroup volumes • Capecitabine (1000 mg/m2 bid)
