 Is there clinical evidence for the usefullness of adaptive RT?  Yes and no  Yes:

 Less irradiation reduces toxicity in earlier efforts in shrinking the irradiated volume (plan of the day, expected changes)  Adaptation is a QA instrument (plan of the day, unexpected changes)  No:  No randomized trials performed, therefore no information on safety available  Replanning on tumor regression is not advised unless obvious borders
