SCRT + Chemo Trial

Rationale: •

SCRT with delayed surgery can induce similar tumor response/downstaging to CRT • Adding ‘stronger’ chemo to chemoradiation doesn’t help (negative trials with incorporation of oxaliplatin) • Move standard multi-drug chemotherapy from adjuvant to neoadjuvant setting • Treat micro-metastatic disease earlier • Compliance • Downstaging effect
