Advantages compared to other approaches: • Radiation source not affected by magnet • Less impact on secondary electron trajectories due to low magnetic field Disadvantages: • Cobalt sources need to be replaced • Low magnetic field, functional imaging capabilities probably limited Current status: • First patients treated in February 2014 at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis
