ESTRO meets Asia

Conclusion:

Hybrid plans provides a robust and single energy alternative for large breasted patients where planning is otherwise difficult and time-consuming. Supplementing primary static fields with short-arc VMAT fields limits the spread of low dose to the contralateral lung and breast and reduces dose to ipsilateral lung and heart as well as treatment time, while maintaining a high conformity, homogeneity, and coverage of target.
