Vaginal cancer: brachytherapy

• Relative place of endocavitary and interstitial BT :

• Tumour site • Recto-vaginal septum infiltration = relative contra-indication to interstitial BT

• Tumour thickness • Interstitial BT if tumour thickness > 7-10mm • Para-vaginal infiltration = good indication to combine intracavitary and interstitial BT
